The company is led by long-time industry executives with a proven track record of success in building, refining, and growing tower companies.

Ronald G. Bizick, II, Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Bizick is a co-founder of Florida Tower Partners, LLC, and now is Chief Executive Officer of Tarpon Towers, LLC  as well as an entrepreneur and management executive. Mr. Bizick was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Global Signal Inc. with responsibility for day to day company operations and corporate development among other oversight. Mr. Bizick’s tenure at Global Signal over three (3) years saw the company make IPO, strategic acquisitions and the pioneering rise of mortgage backed securitizations to finance this industry sector. Prior to Global Signal, Mr. Bizick was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of SBA Communications where he was a member of management at inception in 1990 and spent twelve (12) years growing the company. Additionally, Mr. Bizick holds board seats on several privately held companies. Mr. Bizick has a B.A. degree in Business and Communications from the University of Pittsburgh and has completed continuing executive education at Harvard Business School and The Wharton School of Business. 

William T. Freeman, President

Prior to forming Florida Tower Partners, LLC, Mr. Freeman served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Global Signal, Inc.   Mr. Freeman has also served as Chief Financial Officer of WJ Communications, Inc., a NASDAQ listed manufacturer of RF components and System One Services, a private equity backed consulting and staffing agency as well as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Danka Business Systems PLC. Mr. Freeman has over twenty (20) years of finance and accounting experience and holds a Master’s degree in Accounting from Florida State University and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Kentucky.

Brett Buggeln, Chief Operating Officer

Prior to coming to Tarpon Towers, LLC, Mr. Buggeln was with Clearwire US, LLC, managing network deployment activity in multiple markets across the country. Mr. Buggeln is the President of Florida Tower Partners, LLC, which is Tarpon Towers' operating company.  For the preceding five (5) years, Mr. Buggeln held several executive positions with Global Signal, Inc. up to the purchase of the company by Crown Castle, Inc. including Executive Vice President of Sales and Tower Leasing as well as Senior Vice President of Operations. Mr. Buggeln has over fifteen (15) years of experience in the wireless communications sector in various management and site development roles. Mr. Buggeln has an A.B. in Economics and Political Science from Brown University and received his J.D. from Vermont Law School.

Gail Buteau, Chief Financial Officer

Prior to coming to Tarpon Towers, LLC, Ms. Buteau held various executive management positions, most recently serving as President of GMB Holdings, LLC, a firm providing finance and accounting services to numerous public and privately held companies.  From 2003 to 2004, Ms. Buteau was Director of Finance/Investor Relations for Global Signal, Inc. where she assisted in the structuring and negotiation of complex financing investment transactions including an initial public offering.  Prior to Global Signal, Ms. Buteau worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP.  Ms. Buteau holds a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from the University of North Florida and is a Certified Public Accountant with over fifteen (15) years of experience.

John S. Stevens, Executive Vice President

Before coming to Tarpon Towers, Mr. Stevens was owner of Infinigy Engineering, PLLC, a $8 million wireless engineering firm founded in 2002.  Previously, Mr. Stevens served as CTO/SVP of US Unwired (NASDAQ: UNWR), a Sprint PCS network affiliate.  Mr. Stevens also served as CTO of SBA Communications (NASDAQ: SBAC) where he headed up sales and marketing as well as new business ventures.  Mr. Stevens has also been Director of Engineering & Operations with Sprint PCS where he managed the development of various markets including upstate New York, Connecticut, and Atlanta with primary oversight for the multi-million dollar capital budget.  Mr. Stevens is a licensed professional engineer and holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Colorado and an MBA from the State University of New York.

Jeff Langdon, Executive Vice President

Mr. Langdon joins Tarpon from Immobili where he was Vice President.  Together with his experience at Aisle Interactive as President of that company he has been involved in the successful incubation and sale of two early stage wireless ventures.  Mr. Langdon was a key member of both organizations and devoted his expertise and energy to developing a national presence in diverse aspects of the wireless business.  In addition, Mr. Langdon earlier served as the Vice President of Sales and Regional Vice President of Operations for SBA as well as the Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Global Signal.  Mr. Langdon began his career in wireless communications at McCaw Cellular where he served in multiple local, regional, and national system development positions.  His experience in the wireless industry spans 19 years.  Mr. Langdon serves on several boards at Whitman College from which he has a Bachelor of Arts degree.
